This is a 100% organic, fair trade, highest grade, traditionally handmade Ghana black soap. This soap is traditionally handcrafted by women village artisans in Ghana, West Africa, with native palm kernel juice, wild shea nut butter and native plant material such as plantain and tamarind leaf saponified by traditional lye made from wood ash and rainwater. A vegan soap. This is the pure, raw, “green” black soap. A favorite soap or ingredient for skin care products, of the highest quality, great for many skin types. NOTE: May contain coarse/hard plant material, which is most often small pieces of charcoal from the traditional soap making process.
